Autistics and ADHDers often seem to have certain areas that they really enjoy and that light them up. Sometimes these things can be seen as obsessions from others but they are really ways to help the brain stay stimulated.

I wrote this to people after I had told them about my AuDHD. Some had a hard time understand why I wanted to label myself as such or why I even qualified so I wrote this to explain. I also wrote this to explain why I needed to tell them.

People say they want you to be yourself but sometimes they don't really mean that
