I'm a 24 year veteran teacher who teaches Child and Adolescent Development, Early Childhood Education, and Psychology of Relationships. I have also come to the realization that I am also Autistic and ADHD or AuDHD for short. I also have 1 diagnosed Autistic daughter 1 diagnosed ADHD daughter and another son who is being tested for both of those.
My classes have always been full of kids wanting to learn as I make my classes and presentations engaging and entertaining at the same time. The Professional Development on Autism and ADHD will include many of the following things plus much more
a deeper understanding of Autism and ADHD including many of the non stereotypical presentations of it
understanding the challenges that kids face when they are an autistic or an ADHDer which include many of the following
Low Self Confidence and high self hatred
sensory issues
executive functioning issues
exhaustion
etc.
Understanding what it means to be Neurodivergent affirming
knowing how to make a Neurodivergent Friendly Classroom
Understanding skills that will help you to be more successful with these students
Check out many of my Youtube videos to get a taste of my teaching style on this topic:
ADHD kids grow up hating themselves because they are constantly reminded of how bad they are
Autistics and neurotypicals often don't understand one another but that's not because autistic style is awkward, it's just a different culture

Let’s forget the fact that you’re even going to a parenting class. Because it doesn’t matter what that subject matter is, if Jeff Brown is teaching…you can count me in. Jeff Brown gives priceless parenting advice and unbiased factual information and insight into how brains work in a way that only a Star-Wars-loving, dungeons and dragons master, and father to 6 could. He’s funny, he’s truthful, and he NEVER makes you feel called-out or uncomfortable. Kindness and validation is readily given. It’s not just “another thing to add to a busy day.” It’s one of the things I look forward to attending the most during my week.
